Alexis Korner was known as the founding father of British blues and released many albums over his career. ‘Accidentally Born In New Orleans’ was a rather different album in that it was a special one off collaboration with members of King Crimson and Humble Pie.
Alexis Korner and King Crimson (minus Robert Fripp) came together as Alexis Korner & Snape, and recorded this 1973 Warner Bros. release. The album was recorded in San Francisco and also included some interesting guests including Patto members Ollie Halsall and Mike Patto, Peter Thorup of CCS was also a key member of Snape.
This 2020 remastered and released in the digi format will appeal to all fans of blues-rock.
