Speed Of Light

Peter Bardens was the keyboardist and a founding member of the British progressive rock group Camel. He played organ, piano, synthesizers and mellotron and wrote songs with Andrew Latimer.

Pete was featured on 9 Camel albums before he left to do solo work. He enjoyed some good success with Speed of Light, his follow up album to Seen On Earth.

Pete continued to compose, produce and record throughout the 1990s, and toured with his band Mirage.

He died in 2002 from lung cancer.
